The Sound of Winners!

A new feature on lottery terminals will provide an audible tone when tickets are scanned. One of four distinct tones will play every time a scratch off or on-line ticket is scanned for validation or inquiry. This lets players know the status of their winning and non-winning tickets. The new tones will help reduce errors, improve communication and minimize confusion for players and retailers.
