 2                  MR. VANCE:  Okay.  On the record.  All right. 
 3   Thank you much.  Today is Wednesday, September the 4th, at
 4   about 10:05 a.m.  My name is Tyler Vance, Assistant General
 5   Counsel Texas Lottery Commission, here with Michael Farrell,
 6   Director of the Charitable Bingo Operations Division.  And
 7   this is a public hearing on the proposed amendments to
 8   402.401, 402.413, 402.422.  Those rules were adopted to be
 9   proposed by the Commission on August 7th, and the comment
10   period remains open until September 23rd.
11                  Today is an opportunity for anybody to appear
12   in public and make an oral comment, but of course, they may
13   also submit their comments in writing by that deadline.  At
14   present I don't see anybody here from the public that's here
15   to comment on these rules, but we'll stay open for another
16   five minutes and give them that opportunity. 
17                  So at this time we'll go off the record and
18   we'll be back.

21   10:15 a.m.  Nobody has appeared to make a oral comment, but
22   again, the comment period will remain open via email and --
23   and snail mail for written comments, until September 23rd.
